The West Virginia Mountaineers are back in the win column for the first time since September, putting an end to a three-game losing streak to mark their first win in league play this season. And the vibes were immaculate inside Milan Puskar Stadium and the West Virginia locker room after the win on Saturday.
Of course, the first task at hand was celebrating with one of the greatest traditions in college football, as the Mountaineers had the chance to sing "Take Me Home, Country Roads" with the fans in Morgantown for the first time since Week 2.

West Virginia football celebrates wildly during post-game after win
The celebration continued in the tunnel leading to the locker room after the game, as players were hooting and hollering as they worked their way back to the locker room. In the words of reserve quarterback Max Anderson – "that's a dub."

And then once the team was in the locker room, things really broke down. The Mountaineers were absolutely pumped, including head coach Rich Rodriguez – who made his way into the locker room after the win screaming in excitement, along with his star quarterback. You can see a clip of that below, as well.
After the stadium emptied out early during last week's 21-point loss to Arizona, and fans in the stands had signs calling for Zac Alley and Rich Rodriguez to lose their jobs, it's hard to argue that the vibes were much, much better at Milan Puskar Stadium this week. Now, as Rich Rodriguez likes to say, the celebration will continue for another 24 hours or so before they get back to preparing for TCU.
