Despite the lack of an official announcement yet, it is appearing increasingly likely by the day that Rich Rodriguez will bring his son Rhett Rodriguez aboard his staff at West Virginia.

The younger Rodriguez, who was an analyst on his father's staff at Jacksonville State, has already edited his bio on his X/Twitter page to reflect occupying an unnamed position on the staff. And on Sunday, an exclusive interview with Class of 2025 WVU commit Scotty Fox was published by EerSports of the larger 247 Sports network where Fox dropped that in conversations with the elder Rodriguez, it was mentioned that his son would be working with quarterbacks in some capacity at WVU.

Rhett Rodriguez grew up in Morgantown before following his father to his various coaching stops -- he then played quarterback for his father at both Arizona and Louisiana-Monroe before joining his dad's staff for the first time last season with Jacksonville State. Exactly what position he'll take on the upcoming staff is yet to be determined, though one can imagine he'll occupy a similar analyst role or the quarterbacks coach opening, based on Fox's interview.
