Wyatt Milum named to 2024 Outland Trophy watch list

Wyatt Milum is expected to have a big senior season as he steps into a role as the leader of the West Virginia offensive line. And on the national level, folks are taking notice of what he is likely to accomplish this fall.

On Tuesday, the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) released their watch list for the 2024 Outland Trophy, given annually to college football’s best interior lineman on either side of the ball. Milum was selected to the list alongside 74 other lineman, including nine from the Big 12.

The FWAA will release the Outland Trophy semifinalists on November 20th, 2024, followed by a list of three finalists on November 26th, 2024. The winner will be announced on The Home Depot College Football Awards, slated to air on ESPN on December 12th, 2024. The official trophy presentation will take place at the Outland Trophy Awards Dinner in Omaha, Nebraska on January 22nd, 2025.
