Nikki Izzo-Brown is likely the most accomplished coach within the athletic department at WVU.

Brown has been at the helm of the program in Morgantown for thirty years, overseeing the founding and growth of the program as their only head coach in team history. n she has had 29 winning seasons in that time -- that's right, her program has had a losing season just once in three decades.

Her team has made well over 20 NCAA Tournament appearances, including a consecutive streak from 2000-2020. In 2016, they made a postseason run that saw them play for a national championship and finish as the NCAA Runner-Up.

And as she enters the upcoming season, she holds the distinction of being amongst the upper echelon of active Division 1 soccer coaches in total wins -- as she begins the season, she has claimed 403 wins and just 175 losses in her collegiate coaching career. That puts her at tenth overall out of all active coaches at the Division 1 level of the sport.

To make further in-roads on that list, Izzo-Brown will have her work cut out for her. The only coach within 50 wins is current Stanford head coach Paul Ratcliffe with 429 wins. Furthermore, she needs to keep winning to stay where she's at -- just ten wins separate her from N0. 11 on the list, current North Texas coach John Hedlund. Another eight spots back in 12th is current Navy coach Carra Jennings-Gabarra.
