WVU women's basketball begins international tour, three overseas games scheduled

WVU women’s basketball is currently traveling overseas for a foreign tour, with a trio of exhibition games against international competition slated to be played over the next week.
The team departed Morgantown on Monday, and will spend time in the Mediterranean region of Europe -- they are scheduled to travel through Rome and Naples in Italy before crossing over to Croatia for some time in Dubrovnik.
Tomorrow (August 31st) the Mountaineers will get their first taste of action overseas as they battle Rome Selects in Rome, with a 1 p.m. EST tip-off. From there, they head down to Naples for a contest with Naples Selects on Friday, August 2nd -- that matchup is scheduled for a 12:30 p.m. EST tip-off.
After that, they will get to experience Croatia before closing their trip with action in Dubrovnik against ZKK Buducnost next Tuesday, August 6th. Tip-off will take place at 5 a.m. EST time in that game.
