West Virginia golf holds early team, individual leads at Nemacolin Invitational

West Virginia golf has the lead as nearly two of three rounds of play is complete at the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational in Farmington, Pa. Through the first round WVU sat at even par as a team and held a six-stroke advantage over the next team in the field.

After the first round, WVU's Kaleb Wilson and Pierce Grieve were tied for the lead at 1-under-par. With two holes remaining to be played through the second round, Wilson has maintained the lead and now sits at 5-under-par overall.

Play was suspended as darkness fell on Monday evening with teams nearing the completion of the second round. The round will resume play at 8:30 A.M. EST time tomorrow with the third and final round following.
