Sean Martin, Defensive End

Sean Martin will have his work cut out for him in terms of garnering draft attention. NFL Draft Buzz has the Bluefield, W.Va native and Bluefield High School alum ranked as the 174th overall prospect. Martin's experience on the field in a Power 5 environment will certainly help -- he already has played in 43 career games, including all 38 WVU contests over the past three seasons. He's recorded 76 career tackles, including 13.5 tackles for loss for 51 yards. He's also tallied five career sacks for a combined total of 34 yards.

In an interview with Couz's Corner this spring, Martin talked his NFL aspirations. The host brought up Coach Neal Brown's comments on his belief in Martin being an NFL Draft Pick, he said that it's definitely his goal. However, he seems committed to not overlooking the upcoming season, as he knows an impressive performance this fall in a necessary step in the process.

"That's something I've dreamed about since I was seven, eight years old," Martin said. "I never thought I'd be this big, as I am now. I don't know, I'm just trying to focus by the day-by-day...if I focus on the future too much, I will never focus on my current state."
