According to national sports analytics firm Pro Football Focus (PFF), West Virginia's tight end room is in good shape headed into this coming season.

Tuesday, PFF's college football account on 'X' released their highest-graded returning tight ends (based on a minimum of 300 snaps played), with returning WVU senior Kole Taylor ranked second on the list with a grade of 75.5.

Taylor joined the Mountaineers last season after a stint at LSU where he saw limited action, managing 17 receptions for 159 yards and three touchdowns during his first three seasons, including the 2020 COVID year.

Last season he had a breakout campaign following his transfer to WVU, tallying 35 catches for 444 yards and four touchdowns. Now, he's set to be a veteran leader with some of the deepest collegiate experience amongst the players on the West Virginia roster. He has one season of eligibility remaining.
