Sources close to the West Virginia basketball program have informed The Portal Report that Mountaineer guard Noah Farrakhan will be entering the transfer portal, leaving the school after just one season. This leaves Ofri Naveh as the only scholarship player left from the 2023-24 season.

Farrakhan averaged 7.7 points and 3.0 rebounds per game in 23 appearances for WVU last season after missing a portion of the year to eligibility issues. He will have one year of eligibility remaining on his collegiate career.

Farrakhan came to WVU after a two-year stint with Eastern Michigan -- he began his career at East Carolina. He was initially a three-star prospect out of high school from Newark, New Jersey.
