By Joseph Smith
As West Virginia basketball looks to begin a new era of success under Darian DeVries as the head coach, the program will look to add new stars that fit the mold which the new frontman is looking for.
One potential future Mountaineer standout DeVries has offered a scholarship to is Angelino Mark, who is a 247Sports Composite Ranking 4-star prospect who averaged 15.9 points and 4.9 rebounds as a junior at Notre Dame High School in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Mark announced this past weekend that he'd be making his commitment this upcoming Wednesday, October 2nd. Mark has narrowed his recruitment down to four schools. One of those is hometown USC, but the other three suggest he's looking for a change of scenerey from what the west coast provides. In addition to the Mountaineers, the other two programs Mark is still considering are New Jersey-based Rutgers and Seton Hall.
