West Virginia baseball set to close regular season at TCU

Having already secured their spot at the Big 12 Baseball Championship, West Virginia baseball will be playing for postseason seeding as they the road once more to close the regular season with a series against TCU.

WVU (31-19, 17-10) enter the weekend series in third-place in league play, just a half game behind Oklahoma State in second. The top two teams at the end of the weekend will secure a first-round bye at the conference tournament. Every win also counts now if the Mountaineers hope to host an NCAA Regional, or at least secure a higher-seed in the big dance. TCU (30-17, 13-14) meanwhile enters the series seventh-place in the conference.

The series is set to be played Thursday, May 16th - Saturday, May 18th -- first pitch on Thursday is set for 7 p.m. EST. Fans looking to follow the action can steam the game live on Big 12 Now on ESPN+, while a radio stream will be available via Mountaineers Sports Network radio affiliates, as well as on the Varsity Network, WVU Gameday App, and WVUSports.com.
