West Virginia University baseball will be looking for a clean sweep this season against their biggest rival as they hit the road once more on Tuesday, April 30th.

The Mountaineers (26-16, 14-7) will take a short trip up I-79 for the second edition of the Backyard Brawl against Pittsburgh (18-22) in 2024 -- WVU will get to take the diamond in an MLB stadium as the Panthers host in PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The first battle between the two long-time foes took place on April 16th from Kendrick Family Ballpark in Morgantown, where the Mountaineers earned a 6-3 victory. WVU enters on the momentum from a series sweep of Big 12 opponent Baylor this past weekend, and they now sit in third-place in the league, one game behind conference leader Oklahoma.

Pittsburgh enters looking to rebound following a tough weekend, where they lost 2-of-3 games to drop a non-conference series to Bryant of the America East Conference.

Fans looking to keep up with the action can catch the game on national TV on ESPN2 and can catch a radio broadcast on the Mountaineers Sports Network, the Varsity Network, the WVU Gameday App, and WVUSports.com.
