The time and television network for West Virginia's Big 12 opening matchup has been announced.

The Mountaineers will host Kansas on Saturday, September 21st at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown in what will be the first Big 12 Conference game for both teams this season.

It is now official that kickoff for the WVU-Kansas clash will be at Noon ET on the 21st, and the game has been picked up for coverage by ESPN2, putting the Mountaineers in front of a large TV audience for the third time this year.

Before we get to Big 12 play, however, one game remains for each team in their out-of-conference slate. WVU will travel to Pitt for the 107th Backyard Brawl, at Acrisure Stadium on Saturday, September 14th. That game will also be carried on ESPN 2, with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m. ET. Kansas, meanwhile, looks to bounce back from a road loss as they host undefeated UNLV at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas in a Friday night affair set for 7 p.m. ET on September 13th.
