The WVU Mountaineers have played and never beaten these 18 FBS teams

The West Virginia Mountaineers have played 1,352 games in program history and won 781 times.
The Mountaineers have a 57.8 percent win rate but 18 FBS teams have remained out of reach of being conquered.
West Virginia isn’t scheduled to face any of the 18 teams in the coming season, however, the Mountaineers will hopefully be able to check at least one team off the list.
Since 1891, when the WVU football program was founded, these are the 18 opponents that have shared a field with the Mountaineers and taken them down every time:

. 435. 469. . Florida State Seminoles. 3-0. . . 0-3
The last time the Seminoles and the Mountaineers faced each other on a field was in 2010 and Florida State walked away with a resounding 12-point victory over WVU.
The two teams were supposed to play in 2020 but the game was cancelled and the Mountaineers's chance to pull of their first win over FSU was delayed once again.
