The 4 worst head coaching hires in WVU football history
By Sam Fariss
While Dudley Degroot led WVU to a winning record, he didn't stick around long enough to validate himself as a good hire for the program.
With just 13 wins, Degroot's winning record is minimal. The Mountaineers suffered 9 losses and a tie under Degroot's reign bringing his overall winning percentage to just 58.7 percent.
After a disappointing 4-6-1 second season with the Mountaineers, Degroot and WVU parted ways. He finished his coaching career with three abysmal seasons at New Mexico.
