After passing up a possible career in the MLB, Pat White was taken in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft as the 44th overall pick.
White played just one season with the Miami Dolphins and in his first NFL game, he went 2-of-7 through the air with an interception and only had 20 yards on the ground.
Sadly, White was hit in the head while playing against the Pittsburgh Steelers and was knocked unconscious. He was waived prior to the 2010 season.
In 2013, White signed with the then-Washington Redskins and played in four preseason games before being waived in September of that year.
White then played a year in the Canadian Football League before announcing his retirement in 2015.
