The 4 biggest NFL Draft busts from WVU since 2000
By Sam Fariss
While Anthony Becht had a fairly long career in the NFL, as a first-round pick, he failed to reach the bar set for him in the league.
After going 27th overall in the 2000 NFL Draft, Becht played five years with the New York Jets and three seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He then bounced around the St. Louis Rams, Arizona Cardinals, and Kansas City Chiefs for a year each.
Becht only recorded 188 receptions over 11 seasons for 1,537 yards (averaging 17.1 catches and 139.7 yards per year).
He saw the endzone 21 times with a career season-high of 5 touchdowns in both 2001 and 2002.
