Penn State releases hype video for WVU football game

West Virginia and No. 8 Penn State will clash on the gridiron to open both team's 2024 season in less than 24 hours.
WVU fans were out in full force as football alum Pat McAfee brought his ESPN talk show to Morgantown for a live, on-site episode on Friday. But meanwhile, Penn State fans are getting hype in their own fashion.
The Nittany Lions released their hype video for the upcoming matchup on social media Friday, with a voiceover from Penn State and Pittsburgh Steeler legend Jack Ham making an appearance to narrate the clip.
The video earned a tweet from Penn State head coach James Franklin, and finishes with the words "Beat West Virginia" flashing across the screen prominently. With numerous eyes turning toward Morgantown for Saturday's matchup, we'll see which team is able to hype themselves up the best and turn the excitement into momentum for a victory.
