New season ticket package announced for 2024 West Virginia football season

According to a release from the West Virginia athletics website on Tuesday, the Mountaineer Ticket Office has rolled out a brand new and more affordable option for WVU fans to purchase a 2024 season ticket package.

Dubbed the "304 Mobile Pass" as an homage to the West Virginia area code, the pass offers a ticket for each of the program's seven home games this fall for just $304. The total saved compared to the normal season ticket package is 25%, and additionally there is no Mountaineer Athletic Club (MAC) per seat contribution required for purchase as there is with other packages. This should allow the Mountaineer faithful to have a chance to support the team this season without breaking the bank.

This package differs from normal season passes as the 304 Mobile Pass assigns the ticketholder a random seat in Milan Puskar Stadium for each game in the lineup this fall. Fans who purchase the package will find themselves soaking up the action from either in the upper level or the south end zone section.

Fans can purchase their pass at WVUGAME.com. Special seating arrangements will not be available with this package, and fans looking to obtain multiple passes to sit with friends or family during games are asked to purchase all seats in one transaction.

Around 48 hours before each gameday, fans will emailed a link with their ticket, and should add their ticket to their Apple or Google Wallet before they head to the stadium.  Those unavailable to use already purchased tickets are also encouraged to take advantage of the ticket transfer function in their WVUGAME account to ensure their ticket is used. Tickets will be scanned from the fan's mobile device and can be used at any gate.

Fans looking to take advantage of the deal should likely act fast -- the press release regarding the package notes that there is limited availability for the tickets, and they will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
