How to watch West Virginia vs. No. 8 Penn State this weekend

College football season is officially back, and there are plenty of folks getting geared up for West Virginia’s Week 1 matchup with No. 8 Penn State to open both teams' seasons.
The spotlight will be on Morgantown as in one of the most anticipated non-conference games of 2024. With less than a week to go, many are scrambling in an attempt to grab a ticket or figure out where they’ll be watching the big game.
Luckily, we have all the information you need to keep up with when, where, and how to follow the action this Saturday.
The Basics: When And Where
The matchup with Penn State will be a home game for WVU. Action is set to kickoff this Saturday, August 31st, at Noon EST at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown.
TV, Streaming, and Radio
The TV coverage for the game will be provided by FOX, with the network’s Big Noon Kickoff pregame show beginning the day’s coverage at 10 AM EST. The game can be streamed online via Fox Sports and radio coverage will be provided by all local Mountaineer Sports Network affiliates.
Tickets
For those wanting to catch the action live, it seems that there is still hope. Our latest browse of SeatGeek showed a number of tickets available, and it’s likely other ticket platforms might yield similar finds.
Saturday’s matchup is a “Stripe the Stadium” theme for Mountaineer fans.Those attending are encouraged to wear either blue or gold attire, with each section having a corresponding color. A map of which color corresponds with each section can be found here.
For those in attendance, the Fox Big Noon Kickoff Pregame Tailgate begins at 9 AM EST in Almost Heaven Village, where fans can join the Big Noon Kickoff party and be in attendance when the TV broadcast begins at 10 AM.
