We've reached Week 3 of the college football season, and with it comes one of the most bitter rivalries in the sport - The Backyard Brawl.

West Virginia football will take the gridiron against the Pitt Panthers for the third consecutive season, marking the 107th occurrence of the storied rivalry. It will also be the Mountaineers' first of five road games this season, but with Pitt just an hour's trip up Interstate 79, it's not too far away for most fans.

For those trying to keep a close eye on the action, we have all the information you need to keep up with when, where, and how to follow WVU football this weekend.

The Basics: When And Where

The matchup with the Panthers is scheduled to take place at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, home of the Panthers as well as the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers. The clash is set for Saturday, September 14th, with kickoff slated for 3:30 pm EST.

TV, Streaming, and Radio

The 2024 edition of the Backyard Brawl will be televised live on ESPN2, and the game will also be available to stream live online via the ESPN website for those with a valid cable subscription. Radio coverage will be provided by all local Mountaineer Sports Network affiliates.

Tickets

For those wanting to catch the action live, there are still options. While Pitt announced earlier this week that tickets through the athletic department have officially sold out, there are tickets are still available online through SeatGeek, the official fan-to-fan ticket marketplace of WVU Athletics. The gates at Acrisure Stadium will open at 1:30 PM EST for the contest.
