When women’s basketball action kicks off at the 2024 Paris Olympics this week, there will be a former Mountaineer representing her country on the court.
It was announced on Monday that WVU alum Blessing Ejiofor will be joining the Nigerian National Team for their trip to France. Nigeria will open their slate in Group B during the Group Phase of play against Australia on July 29th at 5 A.M. EST.

Ejiofor spent stints with Vanderbilt and Chipola Community College before finishing her collegiate career at WVU, where she played in 85 games and started 27. Ejiofor 2.5 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per game as a Mountaineer.
