West Virginia alumni Beanie Bishop Jr. and Zach Frazier earned their first-ever NFL regular season victory with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, and both excelled individually in the 18-10 win over the Falcons.

While there aren’t a ton of individual stats that tell the full story for offensive lineman, Frazier did earn the start at center for Pittsburgh as a rookie -- no small feat itself -- and proceeded to anchor a line that would outgain Atlanta 270 yards to 226 yards. Similar to his time at WVU, Frazier also added a boost to the run game, as the Steelers tallied 137 yards in the win. The Fairmont, W.Va-native also made an early impression on offensive line analysts across the league with his performance.

Bishop Jr., meanwhile, did have some numbers to show that he meant business in his regular season debut. The former All-American didn’t manage any pass deflections or interceptions, but did rack up four tackles, all solo, while he was on the field. He was second on the team in solo tackles and tied for third for overall tackles in the matchup.
