The West Virginia football program has a rich history. The Mountaineers first began play in 1891 and have finished over 130 seasons on the gridiron, as of this season. The program's history is dotted by prestigious names and exceptional athletes such as Jeff Hostetler, Pat White, and "Famous" Amos Zereoué. From Darryl Talley to Stedman Bailey, numerous eras of WVU have seen record-setting talents electrify the Mountaineer fandom on both sides of the ball.

However, some records are a lot tougher to break than others, and there have been a handful of performances over individual seasons and careers that one might mistake for stats from a session College Football 25 rather than real life. Here are three WVU football records which might never be broken.
