3 West Virginia Basketball Records That May Never Be Broken

1. Jerry West - Career Points (2,309)
Of course, we are going to show a little love to Zeke from Cabin Creek on this list. Finishing up in the 1959-60 season before being drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers, West would end his collegiate career with 2,309 total points. The only other gentleman to come close to that mark was Da'Sean Butler, who played from the 2006-10. Butler would end his career totaling 2,095 points, still over 200 short of West. It will take a 4-year career at WVU to beat this mark, likely with the athlete getting playing time in each season. Do you think it will ever be surpassed in the days of NIL?
