WVU football just might be back.

At least that's the feeling around Morgantown after the Mountaineers pulled off a come-from-behind win in overtime against Pitt in The Backyard Brawl on Saturday. WVU walked away with a 31-24 victory, and sent Pitt back up I-79 on what was surely a disappointing trip home.

Head coach Rich Rodriguez was as fired up after the game as he has likely been in nearly two decades, and was all smiles after the win. The goalposts inside Milan Puskar Stadium came down immediately after the win, and there are already reports of couches burning in Morgantown. Things certainly feel great for Mountaineer Nation.

Just a few hours after the game had ended, Mountaineer faithful – including former players and coaches, current players, media members, and administration members, and the rest of the thousands and thousands of WVU fans – had already taken to celebrate. From former player and ESPN analyst Pat McAfee to Athletic Director Wren Baker to starting quarterback Nicco Marchiol and everyone in-between, the atmosphere amongst the community surrounding the program is feeling incredible right now.

Check out all the best reactions to the win below – because from Baker trolling the Pitt Panthers to to legendary WVU announcer Tony Caridi basking in victory to Jahiem White taking in the view of burning couches, it's an absolutely great night to be a Mountaineer wherever you may be. And don't forget to stay tuned to HailWV this weekend for more coverage of the big rivalry win.
