Get ready, Morgantown – Miles Sadler has arrived at West Virginia University.
Fans have been ecstatic about the future arrival of Sadler since he commited to the Mountaineers last fall. Sadler is one of the top-ranked point guards in the 2026 class, and ranks as the top signee in program history. And Ross Hodge continued to build a roster this offseason, both through the high school ranks and through the transfer portal, to compliment Sadler this offseason. That only continued to heighten the hype.
Now, Sadler has posted a video of himself in Morgantown on social media, working out in the team's practice facility. In the video, Sadler easily tossed down a dunk on a self-alley oop, with a caption added to the video delivering a simple message to the team's faithful fans: let's work.

Sadler helped lead CIA Bella Vista to a massive season this year at the high school level, as he was named the EYBL Scholastic League Player of the Year, and helped lead his team to both a EYBL Scholastic League title and the Chipotle Nationals championship – he will be joined by two teammates from that squad as well in Amadou Seini and Aliou Dioum.
The Mountaineers finished 21-14 in Ross Hodge's first season in Morgantown, leading them to a seventh-place finish in the Big 12 and a College Basketball Crown Championship. Now, with Sadler in Morgantown and set to get to work over the summer, fans hope that he will help usher in a return to NCAA Tournament play and national prominence for the Mountaineers.
