Rich Rodriguez seems to be bringing another assistant from his Jacksonville State to join him at West Virginia, and this won happens to know a thing or two about what it takes to earn a national championship.

Michael Nysewander, currently the tight ends and inside receivers coach for the Gamecocks, made a social media post on Sunday thanking those involved for his time at Jacksonville State and mentioning "our next chapter" in West Virginia. No official announcement has been made yet by the school.

Nysewander was a member of Rodriguez's staff at JSU for two seasons, where he coached a second-team All-Conference USA tight end in Sean Brown. He spent the previous three seasons as an analyst on Lane Kiffin's staff at Ole Miss that saw the Rebels make three straight bowl appearances, including one in the Sugar Bowl.

Nysewander played H-back/tight end for Kiffin when he was an offensive coordinator at Alabama during the 2014 and 2015 seasons on a Nick Saban-led team that won three national championships and three SEC Championships during Nysewander's five years on the roster.
