College baseball is certainly unpredictable, and perhaps it's never more unpredictable than it is during NCAA Regional weekend.

Multiple host seeds, including No. 1 overall seed UCLA, have already been eliminated from the NCAA Tournament, which wasn't on many bingo cards. For West Virginia fans, it was a shock when Maxx Yehl was injured on Saturday and WVU dropped to the loser's bracket in the Morgantown Regional.

But the Mountaineers perhaps delivered the biggest shock for both their own fans and the college baseball world at-large when they followed up a Sunday afternoon win against Wake Forest with a ninth-inning rally from a 9-6 deficit to beat Kentucky and force a rubber match with the Wildcats to determine who will move on to the NCAA Super Regional round.

Between the improbable back-to-back wins, the wild comeback, and the electric atmosphere at Kendrick Family ballpark in Morgantown, the internet was quick to react to the dramatic battle between two programs that have become postseason archrivals on the baseball diamond in recent seasons.

And once the dust settled and the Mountaineers came out on top, several prominent sports reporters, college baseball analysts, and major sports social media account shared their reactions to the thrilling finish to the game.

Now, the Mountaineers will move on to face Kentucky once more on Monday, with hopes that the ace pitcher Maxx Yehl will return from his injury to lead the charge on the mound. If the Mountaineers win, they will be paired with the winner of the Los Angeles Regional hosted by UCLA, meaning they can bring a Super Regional to Morgantown. Check out the internet's reaction to the win below and let us know how you're feeling about the win.
