While much of the focus amongst West Virginia sports fans this past weekend was likely on the football team's 2025 Gold-Blue Spring Showcase and the baseball team's Big 12 doubleheader against Utah, a pair of famous internet personalities slipped into Morgantown to party down with Mountaineer students for a viral video.
Internet celebrity Nick Nayersina, known for his viral internet content on platforms such as TikTok and YouTube, linked up with internet personality, rapper, and video vixen Rubi Rose last Saturday to film a video where Nayersina took Rose to a fraternity party on a college campus. And locals in the Morgantown area likely recognized the scenery in the video well, as the pair chose to come to WVU to find the perfect party.
The video starts with Nayersina picking up Rose from her hotel, which Morgantown locals will recognize as the Marriott at Waterfront Place, the pair went out shopping for outfits before turning out to join some WVU students in their natural habitat.
The students partying up-and-down Frat Row on North High Street were excited to see the internet celebrities bless West Virginia with their presence, and a loud-and-raucous crowd turned out to party down with the pair.
While Nayersina and Rose didn’t seem to get the opportunity to make it out to the Spring Showcase to watch West Virginia Head Coach Rich Rodriguez’s return to the sidelines, there was a little bit of football-related activities involved in their visit.
At one point in the video the pair filmed – which can be found on Nayersina’s YouTube channel – someone at the party broke out a football and an impromptu Oklahoma Drill began to take place.
Nayersina may want to stick to content creation, but Rose proved that she might have a knack for the sport as she laid a slobberknocker of a tackle on Nayersina to bring him to the ground. Do you think she'd make the cut on a Zac Alley defense?
