The West Virginia Mountaineers aren't going away without a fight.

The Mountaineers could have easily given up after they lost to Kentucky and fell to the loser's bracket in the Morgantown Regional on Saturday. Their ace pitcher left with an injury, and they needed three consecutive wins to make it to the Super Regional round.

But backing down was not on the menu for the Mountaineers, so they kept battling. They battled their way to a win against No. 2 seed Wake Forest on Sunday afternoon. Then, they battled again despite being down three runs entering the final inning, and came out of Sunday night with a revenge win over the Wildcats to force a third and final showdown between the two on Monday night.

These two programs will now meet for the sixth time in the past four seasons in NCAA Regional action, and the Mountaineers now hold a 3-2 edge in those meetings after securing their 11-9 comeback win over the Wildcats on Monday.

The Wildcats sent the Mountaineers home from the NCAA Tournament at the Lexington Regional in 2023, and then West Virginia returned the favor last year on a neutral field for both teams at the Clemson Regional. Now, the Mountaineers have an opportunity to repeat that feat and advance to their third consecutive Super Regional – here's how to follow along and see if that happens on Monday.
