West Virginia men's basketball has struggled to find consistency in recent weeks, and need to secure some much-needed wins for the NCAA Tournament hopes.

WVU (14-8, 5-6) will have a prime opportunity for such a victory as they face Utah (13-9, 5-6) in a crucial Big 12 match-up that will be the first meeting between the two programs since 1998. The game will also feature the return of long-time WVU staff and 2023-2024 Interim Head Coach Josh Eilert to the WVU Coliseum, as he comes back as an assistant on the Utah staff. The matchup with Utah will open a two-game homestand for the Mountaineers and marks the first-ever visit to Morgantown for their program. WVU will host the Utes on Saturday, February 8th at the WVU Coliseum. The game is set for tip-off at 5 PM EST.
