West Virginia men's basketball has one of the most challenging weeks of the season on their schedule -- it opened with a fiesty battle with No. 10 Houston that ended in a loss, and now it continues with yet another Top 10 opponent.

WVU (12-4, 3-2) is set to end their week tomorrow with a clash against No. 2 Iowa State (15-1, 5-0) -- if WVU could pull off the win, it'd be their second upset over a Top 5 opponent this season. For those trying to watch the game, we have all the information you need to follow the Mountaineers as the square off with the Cyclones.

The Basics: When And Where

The matchup with Iowa State is a return home for WVU after a two-game road trip --they will host the Cyclones on Saturday, January 18th at the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown. Tip-off is slated for 5 PM EST.

TV, Streaming, and Radio

In a common theme for WVU this season, the game between the Mountaineers and Iowa State won't be televised but will be streamed live on ESPN+ for those with a subscription -- commentary will be tackled by broadcasters Chuckie Kempf and King McClure.

Radio coverage begins at 4 PM EST, and will be carried by all local Mountaineer Sports Network affiliates. Radio commentary will feature the familiar duo of Tony Caridi and Brad Howe on the call. The radio broadcast can also be found online at WVUsports.com or on the Varsity Network or WVU Gameday app.

Tickets

The game is officially sold out through the WVU ticket office but fans wanting to catch the action live in person still have the opportunity to find tickets available online at SeatGeek.

The theme for the contest in Jerry West Day as the Mountaineers honor their late former player and basketball legend Jerry West, who passed away in June 2024. West was a multi-time inductee into the Naismith memorial basketball Hall of Fame and was the basis for the NBA logo still used to this day. Special video tributes will be played during the contest and fans who make it out to the game will be gifted a Jerry West memorial pennant. West's family will also be in attendance.
