Best Virginia is set for action in the Final Four of The Basketball Tournament (TBT). After advancing through the first four rounds of the tournament unscathed, the WVU basketball alumni team has the opportunity to earn a shot to play for a $1 million prize –  and they will do so on their homecourt at The Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, W.Va.

The game is set to start at 6 PM EST on Thursday, July 31 – the game will be aired live on television on FS1, and tickets are available via Ticketmaster for those who want to attend live in Charleston.

The team is coached by Glenville State women's basketball assistant coach Jarrod West, and has so far been led by former North Texas and South Carolina star James Reese V. Reese has scored 20-plus points in all four outings – he is averaging 22.3 points per game and is third among all players in the tournament with 89 total points through four games. It's his first year with the team, being brought in through connections with incoming WVU men's basketball coach Ross Hodge and former Mountaineer guard Erik Stevenson.

Best Virginia meets Eberlein Drive, who have won their previous two games by 15-plus points and are led by former Arizona Wildcats star Gabe York, who is averaging 19.5 points per game. Hodge has publicly encouraged WVU fans to turn out for the game and support their alumni team.

“If you’re a basketball fan, it’s the only show in town right now,” Hodge said while sitting down with the Inside The Tournament podcast. “It’s a perfect way to get your basketball fix, celebrate your alumni and experience something special with those guys being two wins away from the ultimate prize…It should be an incredible opportunity to have some fun and get out to support those guys.
