Nothing lasts forever, and it appears that the goodwill some WVU football fans had for the return of Rich Rodriguez is quickly running out.

The West Virginia Mountaineers dropped their fourth consecutive game on Saturday to fall to 2-5 overall and 0-4 in Big 12 play, losing to the UCF Knights in a 45-13 beating that gave little hope for Mountaineer fans that anything could be salvaged from this season.
The Mountaineers gave up 7.7 yards per play against UCF while averaging just 2.7 yards per play themselves and were outgained by 368 yards in the loss to the Knights. West Virginia has now been outscored 172-61 in conference play this season.

WVU fans and college football media alike reacted to the Mountaineers' devastating loss to UCF, and the consensus was the same among most people – this is a historically bad edition of the WVU football program, and the honeymoon period is over for Rodriguez.

Some people were already calling for Rodriguez's job on Saturday, as one fan called him a "con man" and another said he "never" should have been brought back to the program. While others didn't go quite that far, the chorus of disappointment and frustration with the current WVU team was loud and in unison from folks following the team after the loss.

While it's unlikely Rodriguez loses his job, at least not this year, WVU fans have fully accepted they're in a bad situation and are upset with the product being placed on the field now over halfway through the season. Check out some of the reactions to the WVU loss below, and let us know how you're feeling about the game.
