The sports world is on the precipice of the 2025 NFL Draft, which kicks off on Thursday, April 24th from Green Bay, Wisconsin.
A select number of college football stars will get to begin their journey towards the NFL, and it's likely at least one name called over the upcoming draft will be from the West Virginia Mountaineer football program.
In total 17 Mountaineers will be available for professional teams to pick from over the next few days, including three native West Virginians. The Mountaineers will see the most players enter the draft from their offensive line unit, where four of last year's five starters will be in the draft pool. There will also be three WVU defesive lineman up for grabs, with the other 10 players coming from a smattering of different positions.
The Mountaineers will look to have at least one player drafted for the third consecutive season, and for the 20th time over the past 25 years.
