WVU Head Football Coach Neal Brown had gracious words for the Baylor Bears and their third year football coach, Penn State graduate, Matt Rhule. Coach Rhule is off to his finest start ever, as leader of the Bears. This is welcomed news for Baylor fans, as his inaugural season resulted in one victory. His second stanza increased the yearly win total to 7 and this year, the Bears are ranked 12th in the nation and stand undefeated, with seven wins so far, this year.
The season hasn’t been without it’s trials. Baylor narrowly escaped with a hard-fought, double overtime win against Texas Tech, before they handled Oklahoma State, in Stillwater. They are coming off of a bye week and the Mountaineers are the next adversary to run the Waco gauntlet, in a prime-time Thursday night match-up that will be broadcast, on ESPN at 8:00 pm.
Coach Brown made his opening statement all about his upcoming opponent,
"Coach Rhule and his staff, they are to be commended. They’ve done an excellent job. Year three… and to go where they were when they took over the program, to where they’re at now, I think it’s incredible. They’re playing with a lot of confidence and they’re playing at a high level."
