WVU basketball: 3 players to watch from Villanova

Jalen Brunson

Jalen Brunson is a 6-foot-3, 190-pound junior guard from Illinois. Jevon Carter of the WVU basketball team is also from Illinois. Carter was woefully underrated coming out of high school, but Brunson was a can’t-miss prospect and was Mr. Basketball in 2015.

The point guard is one of the best in the Big East because of his all-around game. He gets it done on both ends of the court but he is the team’s top scorer at 19 points per game.

Brunson is averaging 3.1 rebounds per game even though he is one of the smaller guys on the court. He has tallied 168 assists which has made his teammates better, too.
