The Murray State basketball team could be considered the hottest team in the country. The WVU basketball team will get the first crack to cool off the Racers in the NCAA Tournament.

The Mountaineers certainly have some stars on the court, but the Racers are talented in their own right. The Racers have been headlining the Ohio Valley Conference and have made the NCAA Tournament three times in the past 12 years.

This is the first NCAA Tournament appearance for head coach Matt McMahon who has been at the helm for three seasons. he has been able to continue the tradition built by Steve Prohm, who is now a familiar face to the Mountaineers because he coaches Iowa State.

The Racers are hungry to be the spoiler of the WVU basketball team’s dream season. If the Racers hope to beat the Mountaineers, these thee player will be a big reason why that is possible.
