WVU basketball: 5 top crowds at WVU Coliseum

On Jan. 6, the WVU basketball team earned a win against Oklahoma and Trae Young in one of the most-anticipated games of the season. Young scored 29 points, but was thrown off his game by the West Virginia defense as the hosts earned an 89-76 victory.

The crowd of 15,106 saw Jevon Carter stand tall on defense with three steals as Sagaba Konate had five blocks. Back to young, the young phenom had eight turnovers.

This was the second-best crowd at the WVU Coliseum this season.
