The reputation

To be a Mountaineer means to be a role model. Kiess will be thrust into the spotlight and will be adored by many fans and children throughout West Virginia. He has a great backstory to show others how to be righteous and respectful.

According to WVU.edu, Kiess is a former intern with U.S. Senator Joe Manchin and a part of the university’s honor college. As an accounting major and pre-law minor, Kiess has a hefty workload of schoolwork and still manages to have a social life with many extracurricular activities.

Adding the Mountaineer mascot to his impressive resume only adds to his future endeavors and shows others the kind of role model he truly can be in this position.
