WVU basketball: 3 players to watch for Iowa State

Cameron Lard

One of the best young players in the Big 12, Cameron Lard has been using his big frame to help the Cyclones however he can this year. He stands at 6-foot-9 and weighs 225 pounds. He has grabbed a total of 133 rebounds and almost half are on the offensive end.

Lard was recently named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week and he is playing with more confidence each game. He will be challenge inside for West Virginia’s Sagaba Konate and Lamont West.

Coming out of high school in Louisiana, Lard was a four-star recruit. He has plenty of raw potential that the WVU basketball team will have to put up with for years.
