The WVU basketball team is trying to get back on track and its gets an opportunity to do so this week at Iowa State.

Conversely, the Cyclones are also trying to right the ship and they see the next game against the WVU basketball team as good of an opportunity as ever to get a quality Big 12 win.

Both teams are coming off losses as West Virginia fell to Kentucky and Tennessee beat Iowa State. The Cyclones are currently near the bottom of the Big 12 but that doesn’t really mean anything. This will be as tough of a road game as any, save for Kansas.

The Mountaineers need a big win to gain some confidence back and do some special things as there is still a lot of action left in the regular season.

Nothing will be easy, especially as the Cyclones have some good, talented players. Here is a look at Iowa State’s best players.
