Mike Carey

When it comes to women’s college basketball, Geno Auriemma is a current coaching legend. The most underrated coach in the country is probably Mike Carey. His demeanor is very similar to men’s coach Bob Huggins, which has been a good sign becuase both guys simply know how to win.

Carey can get the best out of his players with his tough-love approach. The schedule is increasingly difficult for the women moving forward, and Carey knows that. He will demand a great effort against the best teams in the conference. West Virginia may not win every game, but Carey will be sure to remind his players to learn from each loss.
