The WVU basketball team is in for a tough task when it heads to Stillwater, Oklahoma.

The Cowboys were largely projected to be a middle-of-the-road team in the Big 12 Conference this season, but they had a strong start to the year. They enter this game against West Virginia with a record of 10-2. The two losses are coming to a pair of top 10 schools in Wichita State and Texas A&M, which beat the WVU basketball team earlier in the season.

The Mountaineers are also now ranked in the top 10. According to ocolly.com, a win for OSU will be the 50th time in school history that it beat a top 10 program. The WVU basketball team certainly does not want to be on the wrong end of history.

It won’t be easy to go on the road and win. It especially won’t be easy with a trio of strong players for the Cowboys.
