David Montgomery

David Montgomery is a sophomore from Cincinnati and still coming into his own as an offensive threat. He played in all 12 games as a freshman and recorded one of the best rooking seasons for a Cyclone with 563 yards to lead the team.

This year, he has surpassed that mark and has 717 yards on 156 carries with eight touchdowns. He averages more than four yards per carry and can also catch the ball. Montgomery has 25 catches for 207 yards.

Against Texas Tech, he piled up 164 rushing yards. Last week against TCU, Montgomery had 74 yards on 25 carries.
