2016, 48-17 WVU win
The WVU football team played like a squad on a mission last season against Texas Tech. The Mountaineers put their foot on the gas pedal and never looked back.
The 31-point advantage is the largest gap for the Mountaineers in this series, which the games have mostly been close otherwise. The reason West Virginia dominated from start to finish was the high-powered offense executing perfectly.
Skyler Howard completed 21 of 31 passes for 318 yards and no interceptions, while the former quarterback rushed for another 89 yards. Kennedy McKoy rushed for 99 yards and former running back Rushel Shell led the way with 104 yards and two touchdowns.
