Kansas

After experiencing the Kansas locker rooms, Dana Holgorsen couldn’t wait to visit TCU. This is what caused his proclamations in his press conference in the first place. Not only does a mostly empty stadium in Lawrence, Kansas give off a somewhat creepy vibe, the visiting locker rooms do, too.

“The one in Kansas didn’t smell very well,” Holgorsen said. “It was hot in there, too. It stunk, it was bad.”

It didn’t help that on that Saturday two weeks ago, temperatures reached the high 80s. A locker room stinks on a normal day, but mixed sweat with heat and it’s a really bad combination.

The good news for visiting teams and Dana Holgorsen is that Memorial Stadium in Kansas is due to get a $300 million renovation soon, according to the Kansas City Star. When the Mountaineers head back there in 2019, the visiting locker room probably will look and feel completely different.
