Dana Holgorsen enjoys locker room at TCU
Washington Redskins
The Mountaineers didn’t play the Washington Redskins, but they did use their facilities when playing Virginia Tech at FedEx Field in the first game of the season this year.
FedEx Field is one of the biggest professional facilities with a seating capacity of 82,000. It was built in 1997 which is only 20 years ago, but that is almost a full lifetime in terms of major stadiums.
The new trend for stadiums is to be smaller and more fashionable in its design. Just look at the work done on Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins.
Dana Holgorsen said in the Intelligencer, “What is surprising is the Redskins one was bad. The visiting locker room for the Redskins was bad. That was not good.”
There are other Big 12 locations that rank much higher than Washington, according to Holgorsen.
