Wesley Harris

If Wesley Harris can play defense, he will see the court early for the Mountaineers. He is another big man who already has one season of basketball under his belt, playing at Lawson State Community College in Alabama.

Harris enters as a sophomore after playing a little banged up last season in his community college.  He still scored 18.2 points per game and averaged 8.4 rebounds when he played. That’s what Bob Huggins likes to see. Harris just needs to transfer those raw skills into a higher level of play.

For being a big man, Harris likes to set up behind the 3-point line, too. Last season he shot 39-percent from behind-the-arc. He attended high school in Mississippi and was an all-state selection.
